New ThinApp release version 4.0.3

The ThinApp 4.0.3 release date is almost one week ago therefore this article is just for them who didn’t know about!
The 4.0.3 release adds support for specifying environment variables in the VirtualComputerName parameter of the Package.ini file. The GetComputerName and GetComputerNameEx API functions return the value of the VirtualComputerName parameter in a captured application.

SceCli Warning 1202 in Event Viewer

While checking some event viewers I found a lot of SceCli 1202 event warnings with description: “Security policies were propagated with warning. 0×4b8 : An extended error has occurred.” Reading Microsoft knowledgebase article “Troubleshooting SCECLI 1202 Events” I discovered that 0×4b8 error is generic and can be caused by a number of different problems.
